This project was inspired by a desire to increase our knowledge of the health of local creeks and streams in Lynchburg. By involving volunteer citizen scientists in monitoring our creeks and streams, we aim to foster a sense of stewardship in the community and empower citizens with the tools to directly contribute to the well-being of our local ecosystems.
