Frying the fish in water

In Neapolitan dialect they say "frying fish with water" to indicate the ability to get the best from the scarce resources you have available (oil costs much more than water...). It is the philosophy that guides our educational/informative project, aimed at demonstrating that the knowledge about electronic technologies and digital signal processing techniques may allow us to transform a banal balloon into an aerostat with unexpected sensory capabilities.

We are professors of Measurements in the degree and master degree of Electronic Engineering at the University of Salerno (Italy). This project started as a joke when some today researcher were still PhD students and has been carried out as part of orientation activities. In the last 15 years we have founded 4 spin off companies in the field of ICT technologies.
