Bethesda Starfield Frontier Ship Build

Home: California, United States

The video game company Bethesda contacted Adam Savage and his team at Tested.com to build a model of their spaceship Frontier from the new game Starfield. We built a full ship and a cutaway cockpit model. The team is Norm Chan, Sean Charlesworth, Mel Ho, Adam Savage, Kayte Sabicer, and Darrell Maloney. We altered the existing computer models of the ship, 3D printed the parts, fabricated scratch build components, designed and installed electronics and lighting, and painted and weathered it to match the ship from the game. Then we filmed the model on a virtual LED stage on a motion control rig to show the ship in its game environments. In our panel we will discuss the build process with 4 of the team members and answer any questions the audience has.
