Ornella Afina Mkrtchyan
Ornella Afina Mkrtchyan is the General Director of the Center for Youth Initiatives. Ornella Afina obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Switzerland. She holds Bachelor of LLB in Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), as well as a Legal Practice Certificate and Master of Laws in Law and Business from the University of Law, England. After completing these degrees, Ornella Afina has fully immersed herself in the world of educational technologies, finance and entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Supervisory Board at Asia Alliance Bank in Uzbekistan, and she oversees development of various innovative and sustainable projects. Her diverse experience and exposure enable her to introduce cross-cultural concepts and ideas, build intra- and international relationships, and exchange obtained knowledge in her home country. She is passionate about making a difference.

Educational mission: We were inspired to give young people the opportunity to realize their potential in the field of science and technology. We believe that knowledge in the field of electronics, programming and robotics is the key to a successful future. We saw that young people have a great interest in new technologies and decided to create a space where they can put their ideas into reality. Our goal is to educate a new generation of engineers and scientists capable of solving complex tasks and creating innovative products. Our laboratory is a contribution to the development of the region and the country as a whole. We see that robotics and artificial intelligence are playing an increasingly important role in our lives, and we want our young people to be ready for these challenges.
