Want to build a cool little trailer for your bike? Stop by our booth to see how it's done. We're building a bike cargo trailer to give away at the end of the day. Useful for hauling groceries, school books, etc. They're fun!

A lifelong maker and engineer, Mr. McCown promotes young people to learn how to use tools to create fun stuff, like trailers for bicycles. Learning to work with tools can work with what one learns in school to open up a big world of possibilities for kids. We will always need people who know how to do things, people who become the engineers, technicians and scientists of the future. It all starts in childhood, when kids are given access to tools and materials, then are helped to make things.
What Inspired You to Make This?
Wanting to promote giving children access to tools and materials so they could learn to create (make) things.
