Scarab: Environmental Data Collection Robot

Home: New York, United States

Scarab is my Arduino-based, hexapedal robot that can be used for environmental data collection. It's design is heavily inspired by a combination of the B17 Flying Fortress aircraft and the Industrial Revolution of the 1800s/1900s.

I've been into robotics for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I loved to take apart anything electronic, study it and reassemble it and now as an adult, I'm building Arduino-based robots in my free time. I'm very happy to be alive in this period in time because I believe that we (humanity) are in the begining of a tech/robotics, Industrial Revolution and that we have the ability to use current and emerging technology to make the world a better place for everyone living in it.
