The Lake County Radio Control Club is an Academy of Model Aeronautics Club, Charter #777, founded in 1973. From young to over 80, our members are a group of RC enthusiasts from Illinois and Wisconsin.

As a club made of RC enthusiasts, we promote the existence of the club, the field we maintain, and the ability to learn about RC airplanes and how to build and fly them safely. Some of us have been doing this for over 50 years and cherish the art of working with balsa wood and other material to make flyable models. People from all walks of life participate in this hobby.
