Marimba

My son Jon and I created a 4 octave Marimba from padauk and oak wood planks using a benchtop CNC Router at Romich maker space in Creston, OH. Band and circular saws, a drill and a belt sander were also used. Each key was tuned manually using a digital tuner, sand paper and belt sander. The Marimba will be on display to try and video and instructions for building one will be available.

These projects are the culmination of years of messing with electronics and are a blast to interact with and talk about.
