The project is an autonomous rover that enables the exploration and mapping of inaccessible environments for humans. The rover has been designed to address a specific issue in archaeology, which is the inability to access underground areas due to high risk or narrow spaces. Thanks to its compact design, our rover can explore the environment and create an accurate 3D map of the environment using artificial intelligence algorithms to provide autonomous functionalities. The map will then be analyzed by researchers to obtain valuable information about the historical context.

We may have a hands on activity, putting together fixtures and possibly with the 2-1/2' tall robotic arm. The robot arm will be enclosed and will not pose a risk to children.
