We are a robotics program participating in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Our program is for students grades 9 to 12 teaching them STEM components in designing and building our robot. In the just completed 2024 season we finished ranked 316 out of 3474 teams world wide.

The Student Organization for Aerospace Research (SOAR) is a team compiled of engineering students at the University of Calgary who successfully created a high powered, hybrid sounding rocket called Ouroboros. This rocket can reach heights up to 12,000 feet and is 18 feet long.
